This lavender flower grows in my backyard next to the house on the east side and is in bloom now. Does anyone know what the name of this flower is? 

To do list...

I have some projects started that I plan to work on for the next couple days. Redoing the sun porch to make it a little more user friendly and doing a couple plantings. If time allows also working on a window bench and book shelves. Hope the weather is a little better than it's been.

Projects to do

I have a list of projects to do over the next couple days and I hope to get pictures of some of the flowers in bloom. We've been having a very wet and cold summer so far. Hoping for better weather soon. My African Daisies are just about in bloom and I'm looking forward to seeing how they do with all this rain we've been having.

The Yellow Day Lillies have started to bloom against the Ivy that climbs on the garage. I thought the contrasting colors were kind of pretty. 

These are the flowers of the High Bush Cranberry, also called American Cranberry. In late summer the cranberries will ripen. I usually leave them for the birds to feast on. 

First time Owen sat in his highchair at my house. He's such a funny little guy. He's five and a half months old on this picture.
